Fast flavor conversions at the edge of instability

In neutrino-dense environments neutrino-neutrino self-interaction can give rise to fast flavor conversion. Fast neutrino flavor conversions have received widespread attention in the past few years  due to their potential impact on the evolution of sources such core-collapse supernovae and neutron star mergers. This is the reason why different  groups started looking at the final outcome of fast oscillations: what does it depend on? how does it look like? what are the parameters of the system that can affect the final outcome and in what way? These are the main questions that are puzzling the community for the last few decades. I am going to review a recent work ( arXiv:2403.12189) on fast flavor conversion.
